Santiago, June 11, 2025. – Ten years after arriving in the country, WOM announces the start of a new phase under the slogan “More WOM than ever,” a statement that marks the company’s rebirth after successfully completing the financial reorganization process under Chapter 11 in the United States.

This new stage also reaffirms WOM’s commitment to the country and its people with concrete actions, including: the completion of the National Fiber Optic Network (FON) project, covering 7,553 kilometers of fiber in five macro-zones. This project will benefit 10 regions, 161 municipalities, and more than 2.5 million people throughout Chile.

Also noteworthy is the start of the rollout of 120 priority sites that are part of the 5G project, which have already begun to be deployed in the northern part of the country due to favorable weather conditions. Added to this is the significant improvement in network coverage at nearly 10 stations on Line 1 of the Metro.

The launch of this new era also seeks to improve the customer experience every day and re-engage people with a value proposition that not only views connectivity as an end in itself, but as a powerful tool for Chile’s economic, social, and technological development.

WOM’s new identity goes beyond a marketing campaign, directing its purpose toward a new path that seeks to empower people in the adoption of technologies such as artificial intelligence, closing digital and social gaps, and opening up new opportunities.

With the completion of the FON project rollout and an aggressive 5G network deployment plan, WOM is preparing to offer the best network in Chile, while also promoting a new model of agile, accessible, and responsive customer service based on actively listening to its users.
