“This certification fills us with pride because WOM’s Energy Management System now operates with a high standard, validated by international parameters such as the ISO 50001 standard. This milestone, which took over a year of work from the entire company, allows us to continue improving our processes while also complying with the Energy Efficiency Law,” said David Aguilar, Energy Manager at WOM.

With this certification, WOM not only optimizes energy use in its operations but also enables continuous analysis to improve its results and meet international energy efficiency standards.

Regarding the milestone celebrated at the telecommunications company’s offices, the General Manager of IRAM Chile, Christian Maspero, stated, “This certification for WOM confirms the company’s commitment to energy management… Behind all the energy we consume, there is some impact on the environment. Therefore, as we reduce its consumption, we are also indirectly protecting the planet.”
