Santiago, July 2025 – Promoting talent with wellbeing, tools and development opportunities has become essential. In this context, WOM Chile announced that it has obtained the Building Happiness 2025 certification from BUK, a seal that recognizes the company’s commitment to the happiness of its employees, the construction of more humane cultures and the continuous improvement of the work environment.
“This certification fills us with pride and encourages us to continue with our purpose of becoming the best place to work in the country. From our vision, we constantly seek to implement good working practices, promote respect, openness to dialogue, labor flexibility, reconciliation of family and work life, among others, always ensuring to generate collaborative spaces and actions that contribute to the sense of pride and belonging of our employees, who ultimately are the engine that drives the growth of the company,” said WOM’s People Management Manager, Ángeles Sotomayor.
The measurement considered four dimensions to determine how happy employees are in their workplace: well-being, commitment, appreciation and sustainability. These are translated into aspects such as personal balance, connection to work, purpose and opportunities for professional growth, among others. In the measurement, WOM proved to be a happy workplace, positioning itself as a company at the forefront of happiness issues within the country and the telecommunications industry.
This seal is added to important recognitions that reflect WOM’s sustained commitment to build an inclusive, diverse and people-centered organizational culture, such as being the best workplace for the LGBTIQ+ community 2025 awarded by Pride Connection Chile; being one of the fifteen outstanding companies in labor inclusion delivered by the Inclusive Companies Network; being one of the four Best Companies for Interns in Chile, according to the ranking Best Internship Experiences 2025 by First Job; recertification under Chilean Standard 3262 of the National Service for Women and Gender Equality.
“This certification, which recognizes us as one of the happiest places to work, gives us the motivation to go for more, to continue making a difference in the labor market, always pursuing our values, which are passion and honesty, with a perspective focused on equity and inclusion,” the executive added
