WOM launches registration for the third cycle of digital skills for teachers

Santiago, July 17, 2025 – In its commitment to education and bridging the digital divide, WOM Chile launched registration for the third cycle of digital skills training. Classes will begin on July 21, 2025 and will run until July 31, 2025. This training, which is free of charge, is aimed at teachers, pedagogy students and professionals in the field of education from all over the country, developed in collaboration with nivelA, Google’s official partner.

The objective of the program is to enable educators to integrate technology into their teaching methodologies, positively impacting both their own skills and the learning of their students, thus preparing the new generations for the challenges of the digital era.

“The goal is to provide the necessary tools for teachers to transform the educational experience, ensuring that no talent is left behind due to lack of access and that the digital divide is increasingly reduced. In addition, the option of obtaining Google Level 1 certification is an additional boost,” said Valeria Andía, Sustainability and Public Affairs Manager at WOM Chile.

Also, those who achieve the best performance in the instance, will get a voucher for -subsequently- can be certified in the Google Level 1 environment, which will allow them to obtain an internationally recognized credential that validates their digital skills.

The WOM and nivelA program has already benefited a total of 300 educators with the previous cycles. With this new edition, WOM and nivelA hope to invite more teachers to this program that puts a special focus on those more remote locations, where access to quality digital resources is more limited.

The training will cover various essential skills in the Google Workspace environment, as well as Gemini and other AI platforms, to prepare participants for more efficient and innovative use of technology in learning.
