- The company achieved ninth place in Buk’s Building Happiness 2026 ranking, a measurement of organizational happiness based on employees’ perceptions across dimensions such as well-being, engagement, valuation, and sustainability.
Santiago, August 2026.– WOM reached ninth place in Buk’s Building Happiness 2026 ranking and obtained the certification recognizing the company’s commitment to employee happiness, the implementation of a collaborative culture, and its commitment to people development.
This measurement of organizational happiness, which positions WOM among the best companies to work for in Chile, is based on the direct perception of its employees across four pillars: well-being, engagement, valuation, and sustainability. These translate into aspects such as personal balance, connection to work, purpose, and professional growth opportunities, among others.
“This recognition fills us with pride because it comes directly from the experience of our WOMers. It also reaffirms that building a culture based on trust, development, and shared purpose is the path to continue growing as a company. We will continue promoting good work practices and generating actions that contribute to our employees’ sense of pride and belonging,” said Bárbara Parejas, CPO of WOM.
In this edition, WOM was recognized among 65 companies in a study that involved 43,000 employees. Unlike other rankings, Building Happiness provides companies with a Net Happiness Score (NHS), based on employee perception. Companies that exceed 70% NHS receive official certification as “happy companies.”
This seal adds to important recognitions that reflect WOM’s sustained commitment to building an inclusive, diverse, and people-centered organizational culture. For the sixth consecutive year, it obtained the Equidad CL Certification from Fundación Iguales and the Human Rights Campaign, which recognizes the best organizations for LGBTI+ talent in Chile. Additionally, it reached 19th place in FirstJob’s Employers for Youth (EFY) FEM 2025 ranking, distinguishing it as a benchmark for female talent under 35 in the country. Furthermore, it was certified as a Top Employer for its people management practices, organizational development, and creation of high-performance work environments.
