Santiago, June 2026.- With the start of winter vacations and thousands of families looking for activities to enjoy out of the house, the cinema becomes one of the favorite plans.
In this context, the recent study conducted by Cadem at the request of WOM revealed that 73% of people pay attention during trailers and advertising before the start of a movie, reflecting that the cinema remains one of the few spaces capable of completely capturing people’s attention in an era marked by hyperconnectivity.
The research also revealed that the experience begins long before arriving at the theater. 45% of people check the listings on apps or websites before attending, while one in four looks for promotions or 2×1 tickets, confirming that price remains a relevant factor when choosing this plan.
Precisely to respond to that need, WOM announced a new benefit for its customers: 2×1 tickets for 2D and 3D screenings at all Cinépolis locations throughout Chile, in addition to a 20% discount on combos, all available directly from the WOM App.

The data shows that people increasingly value plans that allow them to disconnect and live moments of real entertainment. The results of the study also show that the cinema continues to generate conversation beyond the theater. One in four people states that they recommend or comment on the movie via WhatsApp or other messaging apps once the screening is over.
With this new benefit, WOM customers will be able to access a wide billboard of premieres and family movies during these winter vacations, transforming the cinema into an entertaining, accessible, and close alternative for adults and children.

Methodology: Quantitative study conducted by Cadem at the request of WOM during June 2026, based on 700 online interviews with men and women between 18 and 80 years old, residing throughout Chile.
