Santiago, June 2026-. In line with its commitment to reducing gaps in education, training, and job opportunities, WOM announced the launch of Escuela WOM (WOM School). The purpose of this program is to contribute to the comprehensive development and work experience of young people between 18 and 22 years old, boosting their talent through tools and knowledge that drive their future employability.

This initiative is aimed at graduates of technical-professional high schools that are part of Belén Educa, Technovation Girls, and Fundación 99. The youth will participate in a three-month training process in alliance with NivelA and WOM’s People Management team. During this period, they will receive preparation in job readiness, consultative sales, and effective communication, and they will be trained in Google Workspace, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud, which will allow them to obtain four official certifications backed by Google and SENCE.

“At WOM we know that talent is not determined by the place of origin or economic level, but by the opportunities we provide as a society. With Escuela WOM we seek to boost that hidden talent: motivated young people who today do not have the resources to continue their studies. Our goal is to provide them with key tools and knowledge that enhance their development and open the doors to their professional future,” said Bárbara Parejas, Chief People Officer at WOM.

The company explained that upon completion of this training program, the young people will have the opportunity to join WOM’s sales team.

WOM Belén Educa Tutoring

Additionally, WOM kicked off its 2026 tutoring cycle with a first meeting alongside high school seniors from the Fundación Belén Educa school network. In this instance, the WOMers -the term used by the company to refer to its employees- who signed up as volunteers had the opportunity to meet the students they will sponsor and accompany throughout the year.

The program, which will extend over the next six months, aims for tutors to guide and accompany the youth in a key process: decision-making regarding their vocational and professional future. Through this mentoring space, the goal is to provide them with operational tools and socio-emotional support at the closing of their school stage.

The initiative was valued by the operator’s employees. In this regard, Constanza Muñoz, Compliance Officer at WOM and tutor of the program, highlighted the bidirectional value of this volunteering: “I see this experience as a mutual learning opportunity, where I will not only be able to share my knowledge and experiences, but also learn from their vision and challenges. Rather than changing their life, I would like to help them trust their abilities, broaden their perspective, and more clearly visualize the opportunities ahead of them.”
